Every ostomy journey is unique, and so are the challenges that come with it. Many people worry about odor, cleanliness, or the cost of supplies, concerns that can make daily life feel more complicated than it needs to be. Colo-Majic® understands these worries and has created a solution that combines convenience with peace of mind. By using our flushable, eco-friendly liners, you can reduce the stress of frequent pouch changes, enjoy greater freedom in your daily activities, and save money at the same time.
Colo-Majic® Biodegradable Ostomy Liners are not just a product – they’re a way to restore dignity, comfort, and confidence. Designed with care and compassion, they allow you to spend less time worrying about your pouching system and more time doing the things you love: visiting with family, traveling, or simply enjoying the comfort of your own home.
Most importantly, they are made for real life. Easy to use, discreet, and environmentally responsible, Colo-Majic® liners support both your health and the planet. For those seeking independence and simplicity, they offer a gentle yet powerful reminder: your ostomy does not define your life – how you live it does.
A Colo-Majic® liner is a soft, disposable bag placed inside your ostomy pouch. It collects output and helps keep the inside of your pouch clean. Originally popular with colostomates using two-piece closed-end systems, many ileostomates also find liners helpful.
1) Economical
Instead of throwing away a closed-end pouch each time, simply change the liner. Typical costs: closed-end pouches $3.35–$5.00 each vs. liners ≈ $0.40 per unit—real savings that add up over the month.
2) Clean & convenient
Our Biodegradable Ostomy Liners are flushable. Remove, flush, and go – usually in 1 to 2 minutes with less interruption to your day.
3) Versatile sizing
Choose the liner size that matches your coupling system:
Small for 1¼″–1¾″ (32–45 mm)
Medium for 1¾″–2¼″ (45–57 mm)
Large for 2¼″–2¾″ (57–70 mm)
Before you begin
Wash hands with soap and water.
Set up a clean, dry area with the items you need.
1) Prepare the liner
Hold the liner and gently scrunch to shape.
2) Place in the pouch
Open your clean pouch and place the scrunched liner inside so it rests at the bottom.
3) Spread for a smooth fit
Use your fingers to gently expand the liner within the pouch so it can fully accommodate output.
4) Position at the coupling
Lay the liner’s opening evenly across the coupling (the part that attaches to your stoma).
5) Attach the pouch
Snap the pouch onto the skin barrier (flange). The liner should overlap slightly beyond the pouch edge and be securely “trapped” within the coupling.
You’re all set – enjoy your day with confidence.
How full is “time to change”?
For best performance, replace the liner when your pouch is about one-third full—don’t wait until it’s full.
To remove
1) Gently detach the pouch from the skin barrier.
2) Gather the top of the liner, lift, and grasp a corner to remove it from the pouch.
3) Dispose of the soiled liner by flushing.
4) Wash hands.
To replace
Insert a fresh Colo-Majic® Biodegradable Colostomy Liner liner by repeating the steps above. With a little practice, changing liners becomes a simple part of your routine.
They are commonly used and compatible with most two-piece ostomy pouch systems . Check your coupling size (Small, Medium, Large) and follow the instructions included in each box.
